Legal Shorts; SC: All evidence of a witness can’t be discarded due to some inaccuracies or falsity in deposition.

Inapplicability and effect of, if applied – Principles reiterated.

Held, maxim falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus has no application in India and a witness cannot be branded as a liar – Falsity of witness or material particular at some portion would not ruin testimony from beginning to end – If that maxim is applied then in all the cases it is to be feared that administration of criminal justice would come to a dead stop.
