Vijay to parajay in appeal against his extradition
Vijay Mallya, a branded first fugitive economic offender by PMLA Court in Mumbai, has filed renewal application to appeal against his extradition in a UK High Court.
The renewal application against the order was filed in response to rejection of his plea filed against his extradition order dated 5th April, 2019. This recourse is said to be the last chance of not-so-smart Mallya to get away with fraud of almost 9,000 ₹ crore.
Recently, India has successfully deported Deepak Talwar, Rajeev Saxena and extradited Christian Michel in connection with Augusta Westland VVIP Chopper Scam.
It has been calculated that the game of extradition will last no more than a month or two at max.
Mallya, a branded fraud, will be brought back to India. But the question is, whether Indian Government will be able to claim the money he defrauded or the case will be settled like that of Lallu Prashad in Chara Ghotala Scam.
