Supreme Court Updates on Coronavirus Outbreak with Copy of Notice Amaresh Patel LAW CRITIQUE Mon, Mar 23, 2020, at ,02:08 PM The outbreak of coronavirus has impacted entire world financially, socially, and has raged almost all the system of governance. The apex court in it’s precautionary measure has ordered to close the lawyers chamber inside the court premises from tomorrow (Tuesday, 24th March 2020) 5 P.M. onwards. It also said that there will be no more in-person hearings till further orders. The Court will conduct videoconferencing to hear urgent matters. The Additional Registrar of the Apex Court also notified that hearing will be conducted only in the CJI Court by a bench comprising of CJI S.A. Bobde, Justice L. Nageswara Rao and Justice Surya Kant at 11 AM. And, thereafter, a bench comprising of the CJI and Justice D Y Chandrachud will take up the matters through video conferencing.
