About the Zenith
Zenith Society for Socio-Legal Empowerment is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting grassroots legal empowerment among Adivasi, Dalit, and other marginalized communities in Madhya Pradesh. Zenith collaborates with these communities to enhance their knowledge of legal rights, articulate their visions for change, and implement effective strategies to achieve a fairer and more dignified way of life.
About the Internship
They are hiring interns for their office.
Work
Interns will have the opportunity to learn about a range of legal and socio-legal subjects, which may include, but are not restricted to:
Litigation, case management, and documentation.
Field visits to nearby villages.
Research on social welfare laws such as RTI, SC/ST Act, Forest Rights Act, Women safety laws etc.
Assisting in designing and conducting training and legal awareness camps.
Eligibility
Students pursuing or holding a bachelor’s or master’s degree in law or social sciences.
Proficiency in English and preferably in Hindi.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets).
Resourcefulness, initiative, enthusiasm, and attention to detail.
Duration of Internship
The internship duration is a minimum of 4 weeks and could be prolonged depending on performance and the requirements of the organization.
