About the Internship
The Office of Justice K.V. Viswanathan, a Judge at the Supreme Court of India, is currently receiving applications for physical, full-time internships from November 2024 to May 2025 on a continuous basis. This internship, initially lasting for one month, may be extended based on performance and availability, offering an opportunity for in-depth learning.

Undergraduate law students (2nd year or above in 3-year program, 3rd year or above in 5-year program)
Postgraduate law students
Selection Process
Applicants will be interviewed telephonically or virtually. Confirmations will be communicated 2-4 weeks prior to the start of the internship.
Orientation: At the start of the internship, interns will participate in an orientation session covering essential procedures, tools, and policies, and will be provided with necessary templates and protocols to ensure they are well-prepared for their responsibilities.

Applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis, applicants should ideally submit their application 5 weeks prior to the intended start of their internship.
Responsibilities [Non-exhaustive List]:
- Prepare briefs summarizing case facts, legal arguments, and relevant case law.
- Conduct in-depth legal research and draft memos and opinions.
- Attend court proceedings and meetings, taking detailed minutes.
Interns are expected to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism at all times, ensuring that all information obtained during the internship is handled with the utmost discretion and that their conduct consistently reflects the integrity and excellence required by the office.
