Moot Proposition

The moot proposition revolves around several critical legal issues at the intersection of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Competition Law, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Key legal challenges include the authorship and copyright of AI-generated works, which raises questions about who holds the rights to creations made by AI systems. The case also explores potential anti-competitive practices and restrictive licensing in the context of AI technologies, examining whether certain business practices hinder fair competition. Additionally, the case delves into privacy concerns under IT law and the Competition Act, 2002, questioning the extent to which data privacy laws and anti-competitive regulations can address the unique challenges posed by AI in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
